Little Adam's Peak: Ella’s Easy Sunrise Hike

Little Adam’s Peak, named for its resemblance to the sacred Adam’s Peak, is the easy hike everyone does from Ella. A well-trodden path leads to a grassy ridge with big views on all sides.
The walk
It is an easy 45-minute walk from the edge of Ella town, mostly along a clear path and a final set of steps. Suitable for most fitness levels.
The view
The ridge looks over the Ella gap, tea slopes and, on a clear day, far to the south. Sunrise and late afternoon are the best light.
Nearby
It combines with the Nine Arches Bridge and the tougher Ella Rock hike, all within reach of the town.
